An adaption of a queensland cottage to a contemporary high end residence. The original residence was lifted and extended. The new house reaches back into the typcial Brisbane subtropical backyard which centres around the pool and the " outdoor room".
The palette of natural finishes forms a neutral backdrop to the client's extensive art collection and signature furniture pieces.
Joinery is detailed in a simple and timeless style using the beauty and natural variation of the materials as decoration.
The client's love of the Queensland outdoor lifestyle and laid back luxury sets the tone of this project.
